Our Story
Moshava, which means “village” in Hebrew, is a coffee shop owned and operated by Jews for Jesus and located on historic West 8th Street in Greenwich Village. As Jewish followers of Jesus, we believe deeply in the power of hospitality to bring peace, comfort, and restoration into our daily lives, and to give us a glimpse of the world to come. We created Moshava to share a tangible expression of the goodness of God with those around us.
The Village has always been a place for artists, thinkers, and misfits with a readiness to engage—with people and ideas. We hope that Moshava will become your village–a place to connect with old and new neighbors, a place for a good cup of coffee, and a place to belong. Let’s savor the sweetness of being together.
